Hi Everyone,
This is my final version of Recapture. It's a very short game but I've a lot of fun creating it for you. Playing around with all of the different functions in Unity3D and playing around with all of the different code was enjoyable. Hopefully I came up with something good, considering it's my first time making a video game. Anyways hope you all enjoy. And have a happy holidays! :)

Recapture V4 (made in Unity3D)
Here is version 4 of my game Recapture made in Unity 3D: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11701808/Recapture_V4_Unity3D/version%204.html
It was a pretty big switch to go from Stencyl to Unity3D since my game idea was to do it 2D. The goal is to save all the citizens (spheres) in the building. But be careful of enemies (cubes).

Multiplayer Version of Recapture
So the big question is would I make my game multiplayer? The answer to that is yes! Multiplayer games are becoming more and more popular. And would like my game to be known as a great multiplayer game. The way I would do it is through the battle parts in the game. The game would only have one player versus one other player. It would be almost like a chess game. But instead, each side can choose a group of warriors to battle with and the goal is to defeat (capture) all the enemy players. This type of game mode would be the main multiplayer experience. I could also add some other the of game modes in the future but I think the main multiplayer experience would be the most popular.

Game Minute - Recapture
"The player wakes up in a field having remembered nothing from his past. The player is able to speak perfect English but cannot remember what happened. When the player bumps into two travelers, they begin talking to learn more about each other. The man describes the situation and how he and his partner are on their way home. When the man questions the player about himself, he comes across as a very forceful person. Then the woman (partner) takes over and talks in a more polite manner questioning what the player is deciding to do now. They are about the head home when they hear a loud cannon fire and the journey begins."

Recapture (Prototype 1)
This is my first prototype for my video game Recapture. So far, I've got a little bit of the story line. Next, I'll be adding a little bit more of every aspect: story, sound, better background, etc.
The controls are (Enter) to talk to the Knight and (X) to talk to the Sorcerer.

Revisiting Game Focus
"Recapture" is an adventure game of recapturing raided lands with a group of warriors that you run into and recapturing lost memories from your past. The player is thrust into an epic adventure after waking up from amnesia. The point is to be smart when controlling each character's abilities because they all serve a special purpose that might end up saving your life in the end. You follow the story of one main character but when in battle, you control all of your warrior group. There is a large amount of strategy that players will have to put into it to win. It will be a constant thinking chess game where the player must constantly figure out how to recapture one town after another. Also, since it is like a chess game, there will most likely be sacrifices. Unless the player is skilled enough to keep everyone alive, the player will have to make some tough decisions to recapture what is rightfully theirs.

Game Focus
Recapture (Working Title) is an adventure game of recapturing raided lands with a group of warriors that you run into and recapturing lost memories from your past. The main idea of the game is that the player (man or woman) is thrust into an epic adventure after waking up from amnesia. The point is to be smart when controlling each character's abilities because they all serve a special purpose that might end up saving your life in the end. You follow the story of one main character but when in battle, you control all of your warrior group.
Audience
The most compelling feature of my game is the large amount of strategy that players will have to put into it to win. It will be like a chess game where the player must constantly figure out how to recapture one town after another. Also, since it is like a chess game, there will most likely be sacrifices. Unless the player is skilled enough to keep everyone alive, the player will have to make some tough decisions.
Visuals
The game will be in 2D. The main character will be customizable. There will be different classes such as the warrior class, the mage class, and the paladin class, etc. No matter what, each class will be and very tough looking. The background will be made to suit the environment wether it be in the mountains, on the plains, or in jungle. When in battle, fight scenes will look to be very well done.
